Employment in
the food industry

Inform and encourage
new vocations

WIA organized at CFIA Rennes in collaboration with Ifria Ouest and ABEA.

At CFIA Rennes, the Work in Agro animation, which has existed since 2012, has a dual objective:

  • Inform students about the diversity of training courses and agrifood professions and encourage new vocations.
  • For manufacturers, promote their businesses, their sectors, and identify future employees.

Work in Agro revolves around 3 highlights:

Job dating
Valuation of trades
Pitch on good practices

An appointment
in digital

For 2022, Work in Agro is available in a digital version to offer a webinar, in partnership with ABEA and IFRIA.
How do you know what young people expect from a promising and innovative agrifood sector today? In terms of employment and training, what are the criteria choosed by Generation Z?

Marlène Legay

A psychosociologist by training, I started my career as a qualitative researcher at BVA, with national and international companies. After pursuing this path with the advertiser for several years, I made the choice to create Vague de Sens in 2021.

Vague de Sens's mission?
Participate in the creation of a more meaningful world by supporting businesses, associations and local authorities in understanding the aspirations of the younger generations. Whatever the subject raised, my desire is to include the target in the search for solutions.

Why choose to focus solely on 15-25 year olds?
I started from the observation that the younger generations could be a source of questions or even concerns for companies. Nonetheless, after frequent and rich discussions with both sides, I observed that the said "divide" was only apparent.

And now, what's going on?
Our desire is to make the voice of the younger generations resonate and to help you plan for this future, which is now ever closer.
